In my backyard the Hummingbirds made their arrival in early April. These pictures were taken April 10th to be exact. Who doesn't enjoy the sights, sounds, and antics of these pint-sized, acrobats? The constant squeaks of dueling males over my feeder is always cause to stare. Pound for pound, I don't know of a more aggressive bird. Here are some pics of our normal ruby-throated humming bird (Archilochus colubris).
